Mr. Trang Van Tot founded Glomed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in 2006.
Subsequent to 100% acquisition of Glomed by Abbott in 2016, Mr. Trang Van Tot continued to keep investing in manufacturing and established the new company Fremed Pharmaceutical JSC in 2018. Facility was completed in Nov 2021 and approved by Ministry of Health, Vietnam as per WHO guidelines in Apr 2022. Facility standards follow the EU GMP guidelines. The factory is located in the Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park in Nha Be district of Ho Chi Minh City and has a total land area of 20,000 m2 and a constructed area of 13,500 m2.

Mr Trang Van Tot founded the mother company in 1995 - Cam Tu Pharmaceutical Company, with a solid foundation in pharmaceutical selling and distribution of European Origin , later expanding to other overseas origin.
Glomed Pharmaceutical Company Inc. the 1st manufacturing facility was founded in 2006, equipped with a high quality Manufacturing, Utility and Testing Equipment.
Glomed earned high reputation within 6 years of operation in the local pharmaceutical market.
Glomed achieved the 60th rank in the Fast 500 list of Vietnamese companies in March 2013.
Abbott acquired a 100% stake in Glomed in 2016.
Mr. Trang Van Tot made the decision to establish a new phamaceutical factory and invest in infrastructure to manufacture dosage forms in accordance with EU GMP standards.
The Fremed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company was founded.
Fremed was built and acquired a WHO GMP certificate from the Ministry of Health in April 2022.
